OK, then I try to code something along the lines of
arp_helper/arp_responder and a simple, experimental central
knowledgebase.  At least, we'll see whether this approach is worth
following.

Although, there's one thing that's not clear to me:

Without a generic topology module how do you image a dynamic routing
module in pox?  The current module in pox is not straightforward to use
at first, but hiding the details of discovery, host_tracker, etc is a
very good design, I think.
