[pox-dev] Cleaning up branches in the POX repo

I think it's time to do some belated spring cleaning in the POX repo.  There are some temporary and feature branches which I think should just be deleted, as well as some longer-lived ones that I at least want to address (I am fine with things that are useful, but I don't want useless things hanging around).
